New Delhi : Journalist Syed Mohammed Ahmad Kazmi, arrested for alleged involvement in the Israeli embassy car blast case, Friday moved his bail application in a Delhi court here.
Kazmi, lodged in Tihar jail under judicial custody, moved his bail application in the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Vinod Yadav.
The court has listed the matter for further hearing Saturday.
Kazmi’s counsel Gajinder Kumar said that bail application has been moved on the grounds of police’s submission that interrogration of his client is being completed.
On Feb 13, four people were injured when an Israeli embassy car was struck by a bomb near the prime minister’s house.
Tal Yehoshua Koren, wife of the Israeli defence attache, suffered multiple injuries when a motorcycle rider attached a magnetic explosive device to her car and sped away. Within seconds, the device exploded with a thunderous sound, setting the car on fire.
