The Thiruvananthapuram Vigilance Court, acting on a petition filed by an individual, pointed out that Issac as minister (2006-11) had given tax concessions to cashew factories.

The court has asked the vigilance to submit its report in three months’ time.

Reacting to the court order, Issac said: “This was done as per the budget announcements and now that the probe is announced, let it go ahead.”

The Thrissur Vigilance court has asked the probe against Velapally Natesan, who is alleged to have amassed wealth more than his known source of income, to be completed before March 22.

“I don’t have anything to fear and I will fully cooperate with the probe,” said Natesan.
