An aide to Hazare said the 76-year-old leader is recuperating from a cataract surgery he underwent last week and would not react on the developments in the national capital.

“Hazare will discuss the entire issue with his colleagues and supporters and is likely to come out with his statement after a couple of days,” the aide, declining to be identified, told IANS.

Hazare travelled to Pune Wednesday afternoon for his eye check-up post-surgery and returned to his village later in the evening, he said.

Kejriwal and company were allied with Hazare for the past couple of years before they parted company last month.

Meanwhile, Nationalist Congress Party state spokesman Nawab Malik Wednesday dismissed the IAC allegations that favours were shown to Gadkari in the matter of land allotments and related issues.
