Lucknow : A 55-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the civil court here Wednesday, police said.
The deceased, identified as Nand Kishore, a farmer from Mallihabad, was found dead near the elevator on the fifth floor of the civil court at Wazirganj.
Circle Officer Sarvesh Kumar told IANS that Nand Kishore had come to the court to take the copy of a verdict and some papers when apparently, he suffered a heart stroke and collapsed near the lift. After some time, he was spotted by some lawyers who thought he was lying unconcious. They informed the Wazirganj police.
The police rushed him to the Balrampur hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The body was subsequently sent for autopsy and relatives informed.
