Ghaziabad : Anti-graft activist Arvind Kejriwal Friday said the union government’s decision to raise the price of diesel and limit availability of subsidised LPG has once again exposed the ‘anti-people’ character of India’s political establishment.
Kejriwal was speaking at a press conference in Ghaziabad’s Kaushambi area along with his associates Prashant Bushan and Yogendra Yadav.
Kejriwal said: “Over the next few days, we are likely to witness a familiar political drama of demonstrations, bandhs and a partial rollback after which this issue and the people will be forgotten. This political drama serves to cloud the real issue of the collusion of the political establishment with big private players in this sector, which has led to huge losses of national resources.”
