Doha: The Copthorne Hotel Doha was the destination of the people of Bihari descent on 19 April 2013 in Qatar to attend 101 Bihar Divas celebrations ‘Ek sham Bihar ke naam’ organized by Bihar Foundation, Qatar and World Bihar organization, Qatar.
The program started with recitation of Holy Quran by Master Luqman, member Kainat Foundation, Aqueel Ahmed introduced the speaker of the Siminar Bihar Vision 2020.
Shakil Ahmed Kakvi, Chairman, Bihar Foundation and President World Bihar Organization , Qatar in opening ceremony of Bihar Divas Qatar 2013 said “I came out from Bihar but Bihar never came out from my mind and heart. The best tribute of the Bihar Divas celebration is to adopt our own village for development. Support in developing Schools, health centre, drinking water facilities in Bihar to make a well developed Bihar. Don’t ask what Bihar can do for you ask what you can do for Bihar”.
The Seminar speakers Dr Atif Iqbal spoke on Renewable Energy- Bihar Status, Dr. Rizwan Ahmed explained about Literature & culture in Bihar, Dr. Sajid Atique topic was Medical Health & facilities and Anwar Karim presented his presentation on Road to Bihar’s Prosperity.
Power point presentation was screened by Aadhil.p,m , Jasim Rassol, Fahad Abdul Kareem, sonu C.M ,Haroon and Rajib ,member Kainat Foundation on Bihar Foundation, Chapter Qatar and World Bihar Organization, Qatar objectives and Activities.
Governing body of World Bihar Organization Gauhar Altaf, Vice President; Mahfuz Hassan, Treasurer; Sabihul Haque, secretary event; Md. Nadeem Mallick, secretary culture; Zia Fatah, Secreatray language; Mansoor Alam Secretary Communication and Randhir Kumar Singh Secretary Education presented memento to guest of Bihar Divas while Mr. Sarfaraz Hussain expressed gratitude to the seminar speakers of Vision Bihar 2020.
Chief guest Azim Abbas said developments in Bihar are visible under leadership of Nitish Kumar. Mr. M.S.Bukhari mentioned that I am not from Bihar but due to my visit to Bihar my heart became Bihari. Speaking on the occasion Hassan Chaougule said Bihar is lucky state by getting Nitish Kumar as Chief Minister for progress of Bihar and we are happy to be with Shakil Kakvi to celebrate Bihar Divas in Qatar. Habibbunabi, assured his support to World Bihar Organization for its activities in Qatar while guest of Honor Syed Abdul Hye shared his experiences of recent visit of Bihar. Our all guest had recently visited Bihar on special invitation from Sunil Kumar Pintu , Minister of Tourism in coordination with Bihar Foundation, State of Qatar and met C.M. Nitish Kuma, Dy.CM Sushil Kumar Modi and visited different places.

Mr. Jitu Patel artist was honored for designing the poster of Bihar Divas, Mr. Manish B. and P.J. Bilbey were honored for their support to Bihar Divas.. CM of Bihar janab Sushil Kumar Modi and CEO, Bihar Foundation Dipak Kumar Singh addressed the gathering through video rom Bihar.
World Bihar Organization,Qatar declared the Excellence Award in Society Reformation to Abyanandy, DGP Bihar, Excellence Award for Humanitarian Support to Dr.Bindeshwer Pathak, Founder Sulabh Internatinal and Excellence Award in Education to Mr. Ashfaque Karim, founder, Katihar Medical College for their valuable services.
“EK SHAM BIHAR KE NAAM” program with Bihar Geet and Bihar Gaurav Gaan were presented by member of Kainat Foundation and Nadir Abdul Salam budding artist performed Bhojpuri folk songs of Bihar .
