New Delhi: As many as 30 people had a narrow escape Sunday when a Delhi Transport Corporation bus they were travelling in caught fire due to sparking in its wires, said a fire department official.
“The incident was reported around 10 a.m. The bus was heading towards Ashram when it caught fire near Sarai Kale Khan in south Delhi,” said a fire department official.
Noticing the fire, the driver stopped the vehicle and asked the passengers to get off. Two fire tenders put out the blaze, said the official.
