London: A man died and another was seriously injured when a large metal door fell on them at a music venue in Britain, BBC reported Sunday.
Police were called to a concert venue in Guildford in Surrey around midnight Saturday after a report that two men were trapped underneath the door.
One man suffered serious injuries to his legs, but was declared dead at the scene.
The other man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
The concert by a Cornwall-based band was cancelled.
A statement from the venue said a serious accident resulted “in the tragic death of a member of a touring visiting company’s personnel”.
