“The woman was recovered from a house at Malviya Nagar in south Delhi. She told us that she was not happy with the marriage, as she was in love with another person. So she planned a drama,” a police officer told IANS.

The incident was reported Sunday evening from Chandni Chowk Metro Station in central Delhi. The woman was with her husband. She told the man that she would return after recharging her Metro card.

The husband waited, and when calls on her mobile phone went unanswered, complained to Metro staff that his wife had gone missing.

“They had to board a bus for Ambala in Haryana from Kashmiri Gate bus terminus,” officer said.

Police examined the CCTV footage of the Metro station for clues and also put her mobile phone on surveillance.

She was traced on the basis of her mobile location, police said.
