Islamabad: Three women have been arrested in Pakistan’s port city Karachi on charges of kidnapping a two-month-old baby, a media report said Saturday.
Police said relatives of the baby boy named Sameer Farooq kidnapped him Jan 2 from a house in Liaquatabad area and demanded Rs.500,000 as ransom, Geo News reported.
Family members contacted the police, who after tracking the mobile phone of the caller, arrested three women and recovered the baby from a private hospital in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area.
