New Delhi : The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Thursday asked for reports from the district magistrate and superintendent of police of Pune over the death of two tribal children from food poisoning at a school hostel.
Two others, who too fell ill after consuming the contaminated food, are stated to be critical, according to commission officials.
“The commission has issued notices to the district magistrate and superintendent of police, Pune, Maharashtra, calling for reports within four weeks,” an official said.
The incident was reported Dec 23, 2012, in Kolwadi village.
