UAE officials hold talks with world leaders

Abu Dhabi : Top officials of the UAE met their counterparts as well as envoys of foreign countries and held talks on boosting bilateral relations.

In Kabul, the UAE’s Ambassador to Afghanistan Yusuf Saif Khamis Al Ali met Afghan Minister for Mining Wahid Al Shahrani.

In Abu Dhabi, Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime minister and minister of interior, met Japanese Ambassador Yoshihiko Kamo and discussed a number of issues of mutual concern.

Sheikh Saif also met German Ambassador Nekolai Von Schoepff and discussed ways to enhance relations in the field of security.

In Davos, Switzerland, the UAE’s Minister of Economy Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri met Canadian Minister of International Trade Edward Fast on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Councils meeting.

The two leaders held talks on cooperation between the UAE and Canada in industry, technology, knowledge, economy, renewable and alternative energy.
