Four murdered in Delhi

    New Delhi: Four people, including a teenager, were murdered here in the past 24 hours, police said Monday.

    In the first incident, an 18-year-old youth was stabbed to death by unidentified attackers outside his house in the early hours Monday, police said.

    Police said that Sarvesh, a labourer from Uttar Pradesh, was found in a pool of blood outside his home in Amar Colony in south Delhi. A neighbour took him to a hospital where he was declared brought dead. He had a deep injury on his neck. A case of murder has been registered.

    In the second incident, a 26-year-old courier delivery man’s throat was slit by unidentified people when he was returning home.

    The body of Ramesh Saini was spotted by a passerby on a roadside at Seemapuri area in east Delhi late Sunday night. His mobile phone and other valuables were missing.

    A 28-year-old driver of an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer was stabbed to death in his room at Daryaganj area in central Delhi late Sunday night.

    He had fought with another servant, Vikram, who killed Puiya and fled, police said.

    In another incident, 20-year-old Kishan was also stabbed to death by a neighbour at Bindapur area in west Delhi. Police said Kishan had an argument on a trivial issue with the neighbour who attacked him.

    The neighbour is on the run.
