New Delhi : An aircraft carrying Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushma Swaraj from here to Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain was forced to land at Jaipur airport Monday after it developed a technical snag in its engine.
Sushma Swaraj, who is leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, said she was fine.
“Took off for Ujjain this morning. Landed in Jaipur due to a technical snag in the right engine of the aircraft,” Sushma Swaraj said in a tweet.
“Its all fine. Nothing to worry,” she added.
The BJP has launched its election campaign in Madhya Pradesh where assembly elections are due later this year. Sushma Swaraj is a Lok Sabha member from Vidisha in the state.
