Aruni Kashyap to read from his novel at Jamia

    New Delhi: The Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research, Jamia Millia Islamia under its Young Research Scholars Seminar Series, is going to organize a “Session of Reading” by Aruni Kashyap. He will read selected passages from his novel The House with A Thousand Stories and will be in conversation with Ms. Preeti Gill, Consulting Editor, Zubaan.

    Aruni Kashyap is a writer and translator. He grew up in Guwahati and studied at St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. His works have been published in The Guardian, Open Democracy and Tehelka. He is regarded as a strongly emerging young literary voice from the north-eastern part of India.

    Prof. Sanjoy Hazarika, Director, Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research shall Chair the session.

    The programme is scheduled to be held on July 30, 2013 at 3 PM in the Seminar Room, Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research, 2nd Floor, Academy of International Studies Annexe, Jamia Millia Islamia.
