New Delhi: Delhi woke to a pleasant morning Wednesday. Clouds covered the sky, and there were winds. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast rain in parts of the national capital.
“The skies will remain generally cloudy with rain and thunderstorm to occur soon in the city,” an IMD official said.
Minimum temperature early Wednesday was 26.9 degrees Celsius, average for this time of year.
The day is expected to be pleasant. The IMD has forecast a maximum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius for Wednesday.
Maximum temperature Tuesday was 33.1 degrees Celsius, a notch below average.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. Wednesday was 82 percent.
The national capital has recorded 431.4 mm of rain since the monsoon began, arriving here earlier than usual this year, in June.
