Jakarta: Indonesian men’s doubles shuttlers Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan secured a final berth match at the Indonesia Open Super Series Premier after they trashed their Russian opponents in the semis Saturday.
The local boys went through a tough match against Vladimir Ivanov and Ivan Sozonov, winning 21-10, 20-22, 21-14 in 47 minutes, reported Xinhua.
Pressure was high on the Indonesians as none of their compatriots made it to finals in other categories. They will take on South Koreans in Sunday’s final.
