Kolkata: West Bengal unit of the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), led by Maulana Siddiqullah Chowdhury has started their state wise campaign against Cheat Fund scams in West Bengal on 3 May, 2013.
AIUDF called a convention and rally to declare state wise campaign against cheat fund scam and demanded a CBI enquiry at opposite Shyambazar Metro Station in North Kolkata.

Siddiqullah Chowdhury urged for a movement across state against any kind of cheat fund organization to ‘save the state.’
Ex-member of Parliament from the Trinamul Congress, Dipak Ghosh, educationalist Sunanda Sanyal, former Professor of Jadavpur University Gopal Chakraborty, former Justice M N Roy, CPIML leader Santosh Rana, state secretary of AIUDF Manisha Banerjee and many others personalities were present on the occasion and delivered speeches.
They blamed the government and administration of inactions against chit-fund organisations and demanded government’s intervention for the refund of money of the depositors.
West Bengal unit of AIUDF started a campaign against chit-fund scams on May 3 in Kolkata.
AIUDF announced that the protest that has begun in North Kolkata will continue throughout the state. They plan to extend it to other places that include: Near Nakhoda Mosque, Zakaria Street, Kolkata and in front Baruipur police Station in the district South 24 Parganas on 4th May, Taltala of Furfura Sharif in the district Hooghly on 12th May, Champadali More, Barasat in the district North 24 Parganas on 13th May, Near Dankuni Housing Complex in the district Hooghly on 15th May, Garia More in Kolkata on 16th May in the first phase of campaigning.
