Srinagar: State President youth Congress, during his visit to Dhanu of Nagrotat constituency urged the youths to fight for their rights. During his visit to the Dhanu area, Shanawaz Chowdhary met with youths of different panchayats. He also addressed a gathering at Handwal village.
Addressing the gathering he said that the youths have a vital role to play in the development of the nation. They are the greatest asset of the nation. He said that they can only be fruitful for the nation if they are aware about their rights and know how to enjoy their rights.
During his address he urged the youths that in this modern world where in our society hs been manipulated by various diseases like corruption and injustice. “In such a scenario we have to fight for justice and for our rights,” he was quoted as saying.
He said that the from Nagraota constituency we have received many complaints from the locals regarding the lack of facilities in the area like electricity, drinking water etc. He assured the people that the youth Congress is trying hard to get them solved. He informed that he personally met with the Ajeet Kukmar Sahu, DDC Jammu and discussed all these issues with him.
In another meeting held at Panchayat house Dhanu he said that the Dhanu areas has become the victim of political leaders that is why the graph of development has come down in the area. He urged the youths that they should raise voice for their rights and get their demands to the administration and the MLAs.
He assured the senior citizens that their demands and suggestions will be considered.
The local people demanded that the youths should be employed in the army and police department. He assured the locals that in this connection he will talk to the officers of army and police.
Addressing the gathering Chowdhary Naseeb Ali State coordinator NSUI and Aijaz Choudhary Assembly President Mendhar said that the youths have get themselves skilled in every sense of the word in order become the real asset of the nation. They urged the locals that they should educate their children and make them aware about their rights.
