Devotes of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti from all over India and across the world have assembled at the shrine of Ajmer on the occasion.

Khan added that economic inequality, unemployment, population explosion, sectarian violence and oppression based on religion, caste, ethnicities, etc also need to be fought for a better peaceful world, for they are often the root causes behind most violent movements.

He, however, condemned the terror in the name of religion and was critical of both Islamic jihad and Hindutva extremism.

While addressing the Sufi gathering, Ali Khan said that Hindus and Muslims have to work together to get country rid of this disease. “I will reach out to religious heads of other religions to ensure that no innocent should die and no culprit should be left,” Dewan sahib said.

Sajjada Nasheen said that teachings of Khawaja Sahib which says ‘Love towards all and malice towards none’ should be followed by the followers in its true spirit. Dewan sahib asked religious heads of other religions to unite together to fight against terrorism.
