Chandigarh : A mild earthquake was felt in parts of Punjab and Chandigarh Wednesday evening, Met officials said here.
The earthquake, measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale, was felt around 8.24 p.m..
The epicentre of the quake was in the Hoshiarpur region of Punjab, 150 km from here, officials said.
