Kolkata: West Bengal wing of Students Islamic Organisation felicitated the students of professional courses like medical, engineering and LLB at TB Association Hall, Park Circus on 17 November.
The state unit of gave scholarships to 70 students of medical, engineering and LLB from across the state.
While felicitating the students Said Muhammad Abdul Aziz, Football coach of Mohamedan Sporting club said that besides reaching heights in their professional career every student should also try to be a good human. He appreciated the works done by professionals like engineers, doctors and lawyers for the betterment of society.
State president of Jamata-E-Islami Hind Muhammad Nuruddin said that these students are the assets of the society. He added that the small amount of scholarship may not fulfill all expenses of studies, but may prove helpful to them.
State President of Welfare Party of India Dr Raisuddin said that after completing their courses they should involve in the betterment of the society and participate in social welfare activities.
He appeal to the students that, to participation in the social welfare activities.
State President of SIO Masiur Rahman, Secretary Abdullahil Kafi and many others distinguished persons were present in this felicitation function.
