Jamia to Observe 2nd October as International Day of Non-Violence

    New Delhi: To mark the “International Day of Non-Violence” which falls on 2nd October, Jamia Millia Islamia will observe silence on 2nd October at 12 Noon in all the Department, Offices, Centres, and Schools of Jamia Millia Islamia.

    The United Nations has declared 2nd October as the “International Day of Non-Violence”, which marks the Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.
