Clean India Day observed at AMU

    Aligarh: Abdullah Hall of residence for girls at the Aligarh Muslim University organized a poster making competition to mark the Clean India Day.

    Dr. (Mrs.) Gazala Parveen, Provost of the Hall, said that Saman Zaidi won the first prize, Vidisha Sharma, second and Shabeena Fatima third prize. On this occasion, wardens and resident members of the hall were present in large numbers.



    Clean India Day observed at Abdullah Hall

    The hall residents enthusiastically participated in the clean-up campus competition. Old Waheed Jahan Hostel residents bagged the first prize, while Non-Resident Students’ Club was declared second and Bi Amma Hostel came third. Flash mob was also organized. A discussion on detrimental influence of anthropogenic activities on environment figured prominent among the salient features of the programme.
