Starting from Saturday, the curfew will start at 12 midnight (10 p.m. GMT) instead of 11 p.m. (9 p.m. GMT), and will end at 5 a.m. (3 a.m. GMT) instead of 6 a.m. (4 a.m. GMT); but Fridays, the curfew will continue to start at 7 p.m. (5 p.m. GMT) but will end one hour earlier at 5 a.m. (3 a.m. GMT), Xinhua reported citing state-run Ahram online.

Egypt began to implement the curfew Aug 14 as part of a state of emergency declared in light of the turmoil that followed a dispersal operation against two sit-in camps supporting ousted president Mohamed Morsi.
