Pakistan will change bilateral narrative with India: Abdul Basit

New Delhi: Pakistan has resolved to change the bilateral narrative of conflict with India into a relationship underpinned by cooperation, mutual interest and mutual trust, the country’s high commissioner here Abdul Basit said Wednesday.

“Pakistan hopes the next government would move quickly and resolutely to engage fruitfully with Pakistan as desired by the people on both sides of the border and the Line of Control,” said Basit, the new high commissioner of Pakistan to India, after presenting his credentials to President Pranab Mukherjee at a function in Rashtrapati Bhavan.
