Islamabad : Two Pakistani villagers were killed Monday in firing by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in Punjab province, the media reported.
Three others were injured in the incident near Sialkot, Dawn online said, adding that the Chenab Rangers responded to the BSF, triggering an intermittent exchange of fire.
Pakistan routinely accuses the Indian military of firing and killing its civilians along the border in Jammu and Kashmir.
The latest incident comes days after Pakistani authorities returned a BSF trooper who had strayed into Pakistan to India as a goodwill gesture.
