The problems were highlighted before Badal during his ‘Sangat Darshan’ (meeting the public) programme here Wednesday.

One of the cases brought to Badal’s notice was related to the harassment of a woman, Krispy Khaira, allegedly by two senior Punjab police officers.

The police officers had made heavy investment of money with Khaira’s husband Devinder Gill, a property dealer, who was recently arrested by Haryana police in another case.

Badal directed the DGP-Vigilance to inquire into the matter and submit the inquiry report by Friday.

Badal also announced that he would hold ‘Sangat Darshan’ programmes in and around New Delhi every Saturday to enable people there to get their pending issues concerning Punjab resolved immediately.
