AAP fields Lal Bahadur Shastri’s grandson in Delhi

New Delhi : The Aam Aadmi Party Wednesday announced its third list of candidates for the upcoming Delhi assembly polls, fielding former Indian prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri’s grandson Adarsh Shastri from Dwarka.

Adarsh had unsuccessfully contested the Lok Sabha election on an AAP ticket from Allahabad. He was formerly employed with Apple Inc.

With 10 candidates in the third list, the AAP has so far announced 45 candidates for the 70-seat assembly.

The Aam Aadmi Party is yet to announce the candidature of its chief Arvind Kejriwal who was a legislator from New Delhi constituency in the last assembly.
