Maulana Sohail Ahmad Quasmi, Mufti of Patna based Imarat Sharia led the prayer after iftari. He also gave a brief Qhutba (sermon) on the importance of the month and urged the believers to properly give Zakat.
Bihar State President of Congress Dr Ashok Chowdhry urged everyone to work and pray for the success of the state.
Minnat Rahmani, Chairman, Minority Department of BPCC said, “We invited people from all walks of life, irrespective of caste and creed as Congress party believe in taking everyone along.”
