Asif Mohammad Khan did not answer directly as to what he was doing in the hotel, but made it clear that he is very much in the Congress and that they are not in any talk with the government.

BJP which has strength of 32 in a 70-member House, is the largest party but had refused to form the government in December. AAP, with 28 seats, had formed the government with outside support of Congress, but Arvind Kejriwal resigned only after 49 days in power.

Since the Lok Sabha result is out, BJP in upbeat and trying to form the government. Earlier they had tried to woo some AAP MLAs.

As the Congress has only 8 MLAs, if at least 4 or more MLAs from the Congress deflect and support BJP, anti-deflection law would not apply.
