“The army commander reviewed the security situation under the Tiger Division along the international border and also received a briefing about various welfare projects,” he said.

After frequent violations of the bilateral ceasefire agreement by Pakistani troops last year, peace has returned to many villages along the border in Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts. People have restarted agricultural and business activities while children are now regularly attending schools.
