New Delhi : The national capital experienced a pleasant Thursday, with light drizzle in the morning. The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky Friday with one or two spells of light rain.
A total of 2 mm of rainfall was recorded till 5.30 p.m. Thursday and the day’s maximum temperature settled three notches below the season’s average at 29.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was at 19.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season’s average.
“Friday morning will be partly cloudy, with mist in the morning. One or two spells of very light rain and thunderstorm could occur in some areas,” an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 30 and 19 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Wednesday’s maximum temperature was 32.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 19.1 degrees Celsius.
