Sundarbani (J&K): J&K Youth Congress organized several events at Nowshera & Sunderbani districts in Jammu and Kashmir in support of Congress-NC candidate for Lok Sabha elections Madan Lal Sharma on 30th March. State president of J&K Youth Congress, Shahnawaz Choudhary,and All India Election Commissioner, NSUI, Iftkhar Ahmed, were present.
Speaking on the occasion,Shahnawaz Choudhary said that Congress is the only political party that has given rights to the people, be it Right to Education, Right to Food Security, Right to Employment or Right to Information, and the historical Roshni Act in the state of J&K. Congress has fought for the rights of people beginning from the struggle for independence tillpost-independence period. He praised the democratic set up introduced by Rahul Gandhi in Youth Congress & NSUI thus empowering the youth and the students of the nation to elect their leaders in the party too.He said that Madan Lal Sharma has a good historyof leadership and his credibility is time tested. Shahnawaz Choudhary appealed to the youth, students and the people to vote for Congress, and their candidate Madan Lal Sharma to ensure rapid progress of the area.
Ifthkar Ahmad said that for the first time in the political history of the country, a political party has introduced student and youth manifesto and that party is the Congress party. He claimed that prior to this election, while manifestos were prepared in Delhi but the party’s they were made so by open consultations. The congress has worked for the rights of the people and hence people should vote for them.
