Patna: A court here Friday sent, to six days’ police custody, four Indian Mujahideen suspected operatives arrested by the NIA from Ranchi in connection with serial blasts in Bodh Gaya and at Gandhi Maidan here last year ahead of BJP leader Narendra Modi’s campaign rally.
Two days after their arrest by the National Investigation Agency, four of them were brought to Patna Friday and presented in the special court here, which granted Patna police their six-day remand for interrogation, a senior police official said.
According to police officials here, four of them were interrogated by an NIA team at high security Bihar Military Police campus here before being brought before the court.
The IM operatives were detained by the NIA from three different places in Jharkhand.
