Each AAP worker to cover 25 households

New Delhi : Each of the AAP’s 110,000 volunteers has been told to reach out to 25 households ahead of Delhi’s assembly elections, to highlight the achievements of its 49-day rule in the capital.

“It would be the broadest social coalition. We have the vision ready for each section of the society,” party leader Ashish Khetan said.

The AAP would also rely on its tried-and-tested door-to-door campaign. Delhi’s over 33 lakh households account for its 16 million people.

Another leader, Sanjay Singh, said the AAP would ask the Election Commission to verify the voters’ list so that bogus names are struck off.

The AAP would set up a 10-member team of volunteers at all polling booths in each of the 70 assembly segments.
