“Corporate influence on political parties pushing India towards capitalist democracy”

Gaya: The increasing influence of corporate world into political parties is pushing India towards capitalist democracy, which is actually a democracy under the slavery of capitalists, speakers at the programme of Gaya district unit of ‘Samaaj Bachao Aandolan’ said here.

“It is the high time that the society can bear the evil corporate-political nexus. The local activists of the Samaaj Bachao Aandolan should make sure that every common man of the Gaya district must be socially conscious as much that he can identify and understand the evil corporate-political nexus,” said Mohammad Kashif Yunus, chief convener of the movement ‘Samaaj Bachao Aandolan’, at a programme titled ‘Corporate Politics Vs Society Politics’ organized by the Gaya district unit of the movement.

He also requested the general masses to give donations to genuine political parties so that corporate driven political outfits can be overthrown politically too.

Speakers from Patna, Nalanda, Darbhanga and Begusarai spoke on the occasion. Local leaders of the movement also discussed the mechanism to be followed by the movement, a release said, adding, the Samaaj Bachao Aandolan regularly struggles to make people of Bihar aware about their rights and duties.

Alok Vardhan of Begusarai urged the people to question the local cadres and leaders of the corporate driven parties to pressurizing their state leaders and central leaders to come out of the evil Corporate nexus. “Their bold questioning may pressurize even the national parties to change their policy,” he said.

Harihar Nath, Arvind Kumar and Faisal Azam also spoke on the occasion, the release added.
