Kolkata: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Ashutosh on Friday said the “biggest problem” with the Narendra Modi government is the gap between hope and delivery.
“Youth simply wants results. The biggest problem with Modi and partly with us in future maybe is that we have created so much hope and if the gap between that hope and delivery is not narrowed then there is a problem,” Ashutosh said here at a discussion organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce.
“The problem with us is that if that gap is narrowed then we have a great future, if not then it is a problem,” he observed.
Ashutosh also dispelled rumours of strife between Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung amid the ongoing turf war between the centre and the state government.
“I am aware relationship is very good with LG… there is nothing personal about it. It is another thing that he is taking orders from the PMO,” Ashutosh said.
On Kejriwal holding a meeting during the day on the law and order situation, he said: “As a party in Delhi which is in the government, it is a matter of concern if the law and order situation is not good and the face of the government is Arvind Kejriwal and if something goes wrong in the law and order then it is the responsibility of the state government to apprise the situation to LG, the president and the home ministry and it is up to them to make right moves and right corrections.”
