Dammam: The Indian Social Forum, Karnataka state, Eastern Province has congratulates the elected SDPI backed candidates that won in the Panchayat elections recently held throughout Karnataka.
“People elected the SDPI backed candidates with the expectations of solution to their problems. This victory is a sign of a political change in the country and also it increased the responsibility of SDPI in coming days,” SDPI Eastern Province said in a release.
The SDPI had maintained its presence in the different Gram Panchayats in Karnataka, especially in Dakshina Kannada region where it recently won in 70 gram panchayat wards out of 372 it contested.
“There are a lot of places where SDPI backed candidates lost with a slight margin to stand second. Indian Social Forum also praises all SDPI backed candidates who have participated in Panchayat elections. Indian Social Forum also praises all the cadres and members of the party who worked day and night for this achievement and also the voters of Karnataka who voted for the SDPI backed candidates,” it said.
Indian Social Forum also praises the cadres of Indian Social Forum who have participated in the election campaign in Dammam, Khobar, Jubail and Al-Hasa, Mohammed Shareif, president, Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province, Karnataka, said.
