Burooj Realization announces ‘The Ahmed Clock Competition’ for School Children’s

Mumbai : In order to show Solidarity with Ahmed Mohamed a Muslim Sudanese-American high school freshman who was arrested earlier this month in US for making a clock resembling a hoax bomb, a Mumbai based Educational Organization Burooj Realization has called for ‘The Ahmed Clock Competition’ for School Children’s across Asia.

The clock competition has been announced for school children’s so as to explore inventor in them and motivate them to bring out best in the form of inventions.

Importantly, the name Ahmed Mohamed, hogged global headlines earlier this month after he was arrested for bringing a clock to school that his teachers mistook for a bomb. The boy had brought a home project, where he had reassembled the internal components of a commercial digital clock inside a locking pencil box.

Ahmed was subsequently released and since then has enjoyed a wealth support from President United States, Barack Obama, Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, MIT, NASA and others.

“It’s beyond Ahmed now. This is about the way we teach our community to react to the media bias, and create a willingness to educate others. Today, it’s about the clock, tomorrow it could be about the cartoon on Prophet. If we do not educate, we leave room for violence. We hope education Prevails,” Dawood Vaid, the CEO of Burooj Realization and the person behind this initiative told in a statement released on its Website burooj.org.

The Organization is seeking children’s to make a working –model of a clock which will let them to explore with colors and patterns, with card board and fiberboard.

“There are festive holidays around and how exciting it would be to make a working model of a clock? Let children’s explore with colors and patterns, with cardboard and fireboard,” Burooj Realization said in a Statement to media.

The pictures of clocks made by children’s should reach the Organization by October 10th, 2015.The winners of the competition will be awarded with prizes besides Certificates for all the participants and a trophy for the best school inputs.
