PositiveShift launches cashless campaign in Telangana village

Hyderabad : PositiveShift, a learning consulting organisation that specialises in online learning, skill and talent development, has launched ‘Let’s go cashless village’ campaign in a Telangana village.

Kick-starting the campaign in Chitkul village in Sangareddy district, PositiveShift founder and CEO Vijay Ketan Mitra said they want to cover at least three villages over next 20 days.

“We plan to leverage proven methodologies that we use for our training programmes. For this campaign we have developed role plays, physical demonstrations and word of mouth sessions. We want to offer real experience to as many villagers possible by demonstrating real transactions through USSD and UPI methods,” he said.

“The purpose of our mission is to spread awareness on cashless mode of transactions by demonstrating debit and credit cards and swipe machines. This is part of PositiveShift CSR activity to spread awareness about cashless transaction will help the country’s economy in the long run.

“We are also targeting youngsters and elderly members of many villages in Sangareddy district to educate them about the easy and convenient process of cashless transactions Aand raise awareness about Cards (Debit, Credit, Rupay), eWallet services, USSD, UPI and other ways that government has implemented to help rural population to go cashless,” he added.

PositiveShift is ready to work with corporates on ‘cashless village’ model, said Mitra.
