“The toughest part about Ramadan is waking up for Sehri”, smiled Deeba. A teacher in a primary school, while at home she has the responsibility of a teenage son.
She doesn’t remember any special ceremony being hosted to celebrate her first roza. Beginning to fast when she was in her pre-teens, she has been steadfast through the years.
Now that her son is fasting as well, she finds feels the spirituality around her has doubled.
