New Delhi : The government on Sunday increased the withdrawal limits in banks and ATMs.
“Banks have been advised to increase the Business Correspondents limit to Rs 2,500 for withdrawal from bank accounts,” the finance ministry said.
The limit for exchanging old 500 and 1,000 rupee notes has also been hiked from Rs 4,000 to Rs 4,500, a ministry statement said.
