One of the leading Muslim organization, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind has condemned the dastardly attack on the on Amarnath Yatri in Anantnagh Kashmir region.
“The attack on Amarnath yatris has caused great pain to us. We condemn this cowardly terrorist attack and express our deep condolences to the families of the dead and prayers for injured,” said, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind General Secretary Maulana Mahmood Madani.
Maulana Madani further said that such kind of terrorist attacks has nothing to do with any religion and creed. Invoking Islamic principles, Maulana Madani asserted that Islam does not allow targeting women and worshippers even during the course of war.
“Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind has always stressed upon the need for common struggle against the scourge of terrorism without any affiliation to religion and creed.”
Madani also expressed hope that dividing elements will never succeed by launching such nefarious attacks as people from all quarters come together to condemn them.
Maulana Madani referred to the history that a Kashmiri Muslim Buta Malik discovered Amaranth cave in 1850 and even today his family has his share in this shrine. He said, “It reflects that Kashmiris have deep attachment with the Amaranth yatris economically and traditionally.”
Maulana Mahmood Madani sought investigation into the incident and the exemplary punishment for the culprits.
