Mumbai : Four young men employed in a fuel station were burnt to death in Maharashtra when a fire enveloped a tin shed when they were asleep early Sunday, police said.
According to police sub-inspector M.A. Sayyed, the four were employed in the Mahavir petrol pump located outside Partur railway station, around 650 km from Mumbai.
They locked the business premises around midnight, had dinner and retired to the tin shed adjacent to the petrol pump. An electric short-circuit apparently triggered the fire, killing them.
The victims were identified as Anil Mathure, Arun Mane, Ankush Godhke and Gangadhar Kale.
