Israeli troops detain 12 Palestinian in W. Bank

Ramallah : Some 12 Palestinian were detained on Wednesday by the Israeli troops in the West Bank as they executed military campaigns in Tulkarem, Hebron (Al-Khalil) and Bethlehem.

Security sources said that the occupation forces stormed Thanaba twon and Balaa village, and captured at least five Palestinian, including a girl, from her house after being besieged by the Israeli troops.

Another two Palestinians were arrested in Bethlehem, where one of them was injured by the Israeli fire.

Similar action took place in Hebron and the neighboring refugee camp of Al-Aroub during a search operation carried out by the Israeli forces.

Israel’s troops frequently detain Palestinians in the West Bank, claiming that they are “wanted.”
