Bangkok : Volunteer guards of Thai anti-government group stepped up security around the Government House on Friday after a smoke bomb was thrown into the guards stationing near the Government House in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.
According to witnesses, the smoke bomb was thrown from a car to the guards of the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) at Makkhawan Rangsan bridge near the Government House at 2 a.m. at local time.
There are no reports of injuries.
This is the latest attack against the anti-government group. At around 3 a.m. Thursday, a bomb was thrown at the bridge protest area. It wounded six people.
