United Nations : Non-aligned Countries, NOAL condemned Israel for ignoring and violating the resolution adopted Friday by UN Security Council, demanding the immediate cease-fire of Tel Aviv against Gaza Strip.
This is a flagrant action of Israel in defiance to the repeated calls of the international community, which demand the immediate cease of military activities; as it reads the missive published in this UN headquarter in New York.
NOAL demand the immediate implementation of Resolution No. 1860, adopted by UN Security Council, including the calls for the immediate cease-fire, leading to the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.
The missive also favors measures to face the urgent humanitarian and economic needs of the Palestinian people in Gaza, including the permanent opening of Gaza border post, as demanded in the official document.
It would allow ensuring free access for humanitarian aid and other essential provisions and products, as well as people’s free transferring from and towards the Strip.
The Non-aligned Movement, chaired by Cuba since the 14th Summit celebrated in Havana in 2006, reiterates its calls to fulfill what has been stipulated concerning the protection of the Palestine civilian population in Gaza, according to the international humanitarian law.
The missive particularly emphasizes their support to the resolution adopted Monday by the Council of Human Rights on the serious violations of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory and demands its total implementation.
NOAL will implement all the actions to guarantee the investigation and legal action for those responsible of the crimes against the civilian population in Gaza, the official document reads.
