Talking to IRNA here on Monday, he commented on the new pre-conditions put forward by the Zionists on materialization of the truce in the Gaza Strip.

He said Zionist policies have always focused on deterring materialization of peace.

Stating that he is already disappointed by Israel’s present government, he said he expected nothing real and frank from the next Israeli government, either.

Hamas recently said it had come in total agreement with the Egyptian government about a truce but the Zionist regime said it would open crossings into Gaza only after the captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit was released. Hamas rejected the Zionist demand.

Moussa said Israel’s persistence on its pre-condition is quite dangerous and hoped the Zionist regime reconsidered its policy.

On the initiative to bring about an Arab reconciliation, he said it was a correct and much-needed move that was welcomed by all with utter optimism.
