New Delhi : At least nine picnickers were killed and 30 others injured as a bus carrying them crashed into a ditch in Lohagara in Bangladesh’s southeastern district of Chittagong Thursday.
The bus of the picnic party fell into the ditch as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving the nine people killed on the spot, UNI reported quoting police sources.
The victims were returning to their homes after a picnic in sea resort town of Cox’s Bazar.
The injured were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH), where condition of 14 of them was stated to be critical.
